DIY: Pinweel / Rehilete

Materiales:
-Tabla de corte
-Regla
-Tijeras o exacto
-Alfileres
-Lápiz
-Impresión y/o papel con diseño por ambos lados

Paso 1: Cortar la Plantilla
Imprime la plantilla del rehilete aquí. Puedes imprimir un diseño en cada lado de la hoja o comprar un papel que este impreso por ambos lados.Coloca la plantilla sobre la hoja con diseño, recorta todos los lados hasta obtener un cuadrado. Después corta las líneas diagonales para formar las aletas del rehilete. De una hoja tamaño carta salen 2 rehiletes.

Paso 2: Doblar las Aletas
Una vez que tienes el rehilete cortado con las aletas. Dobla las esquinas en forma paralela a los cortes. Dobla de manera que queden un poco mas allá del centro del rehilete.

Paso 3: Sujetar el Rehilete
Toma un alfiler con cabeza y realiza un agujero a través de cada extremo de las aletas. Junta todos los extremos y pasa el alfiler para sujetarlas, la cabeza deberá quedar al frente. Empuja la punta del alfiler sobre la goma de borrar del lápiz. Prueba que el rehilete gire, saca el alfiler, con ayuda de las tejeras quita la punta y vuelve a insertarlo sobre la goma. Puedes colocar un poco de pegamento sobre el alfiler para sujetarlo mejor a la goma de borrar.

Paso 4: Listo!!
Con solo esto tres pasos puedes elaborar estos fantásticos rehiletes. Elabora cuantos quieras y utilízalos para decorar tus fiestas, para asignar asientos o como un regalo.

Step 1: Cut the Template
Print the pinwheel template here. You can print a design on each side of your sheet or buy a paper printed on both sides. Place the template on the paper, cut around edges to obtain a square. Then cut diagonal lines to form pinwheel flaps.  The template fits two squares per letter page.

Step 2: Fold the Flaps
Once you have cut the pinwheel flaps. Fold your flaps parallel with the cut. Make sure the end reaches beyond the middle of the pinwheel. 

Step 3: Hold the  Pinwheel 
Take a pin with head and poke a hole through the end of each flaps. Put together all the ends and pass the pin to hold them, the head should be in front.  Push pin through the eraser of a pencil.  Test the pinwheel for pin length, then cut off the sharp point with scissors or wire cutters. Push the now dull edge of the pin flush with the eraser. You can put some glue on the pin to attach better to the eraser.

Step 4: Ready!
With just three steps you can make these fantastic pinwheel. Make as many you want and use them to decorate your party, to assign seats or as a gift.
